Grant Sub-Contracting

If you hold an extramural grant or contract in which funding is identified for a collaborating or consortium entity that will perform part of the project "scope of work," you will need to set up a subaward through Research & Sponsored Programs. Please note that if you hold an extramural grant or contract which does not include identified funding for a collaborating or consortium entity to perform part of the project "scope of work," any purchases of goods or services authorized by the sponsoring agency would fall under University Purchasing policies and must be handled through Purchasing rather than RSP.
