ORACLE/PEOPLESOFT SUPPORT SERVICES - GRANTS TECHNICAL SERVICES PROJECT

SCOPE: Contract for the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) to provide technical implementation resources to assist with the implementation of the project referred as the Grants Project.

The scope of the Grants Project will be to implement the five modules that comprise the Enterprise Grants Management Suite of PeopleSoft/Oracle products.  They are Grants, Projects, Contracts, Account Receivable and Billing into the currently used SFS version 8.9 environment in place at UW-Madison.  In addition, this project will improve project and grant reporting information, especially to the principal investigators, department personnel and central staff.  It will provide implementation of an electronic transmittal form that integrates with PALS.  It will identify opportunities for improvement to business processes by leveraging the functionality of the Grants Suite or products.  Several interfaces are included in the scope of this project, including: an electronic transmittal form to capture pre-award tracking data and an interface from the Pre-Award Log-in System to the grants modules.
