SWAP Shop Hours of Operation

Thursdays: 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

On these days, the SWAP Shop is ONLY OPEN TO:

• University departments
• State agencies
• Municipalities and other governmental departments
• Non-Profit Organizations with State Sales Tax Exempt Certificates

Thursday shoppers may only pay for purchases with a Materials Distribution Services (MDS) Customer number or, for non-profit organizations, with a check from the organization. Credit card with organizations name on the card is also accepted. (Visa or Mastercard) Cash and personal checks, or personal credit cards are not accepted on Thursdays. 

Fridays: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Every Friday, the SWAP Shop is open to the GENERAL PUBLIC. Purchases may be made with check, cash. or Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard only)

Saturday : 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (Every 2nd Saturday of the Month)

Every 2nd Saturday of the month, the SWAP Shop is open to the GENERAL PUBLIC. Purchases may be made with check, cash. or Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard only)

Online Auction Pick-up and Viewing

• Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
• Friday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
• 2nd Saturday of each month from 8:00 - 1:30 pm.

Delivery Information 

Campus departments and local State agencies may arrange for delivery of large equipment or purchases for a fee by requesting delivery at time of purchase. SWAP cannot deliver items to anyone other than UW departments or local State agencies.

Holding Items for Delayed Pick-up

Customer purchases that are not removed from SWAP at the time of purchase, must be removed no later than 3:00 p.m. of the following Tuesday. Items that are not picked up by 3:00 p.m. Tuesday will be resold. Our hours for pick-up are 8 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. No refunds or credits will be given for items that were not picked up.
