SPECIFICATIONS

ITEM 1

1.  Corrugated Box:

a.         approximately 7”W x 10”L x 1-3/4” H with end flaps on each of the 7” ends, but must accommodate foam insert measuring 6-1/2”W x 9-1/2”L x 1” H  
b.         end flaps must have a locking tab insert to help “lock” the boxes                        
c.         end flaps must originate on the same surface as the glued edge of the box        
d.         must have folding closure tabs on each 1-3/4” side (total of 4)                           
e.         must be glued together along one of the 10” sides                                             
f.          must be supplied in a compressed (flat) state for ease of storing                                   
g.         must be constructed of white-e-flute 200# test corrugated smooth stock             
h.         surface of box must allow adhering of gummed mailing labels and postage/airmail tapes.
i.          print in blue ink, minimum 14 pt type size (in return address area of box)

2.  Foam Inserts:
a.         material must be open cell foam, equal to one pound density 
b.         Size must  be 6-1/2”W x 9-1/2”L x 1”H
c.         color should be gray or black
d.         must be die cut as per schematic drawing attached                                            

3.  Absorbent Material:
a.         must be rigid                                                                                                    
b.         size must be 6-1/2”W x 9-1/2”L x ¾”H                                                                 
c.         must be able to absorb and retain a minimum of 50ml of both aqueous and protein-based liquid   

4.  Foam insert and absorbent material must fit inside the corrugated box (Item #1)

5.  Must provide mock-up sample of items and printing upon request
