SCOPE: Contract for the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene Proficiency Testing Division (WSLHPT), for the purchase of Proficiency Testing Management System (PTMS) software system, training, ongoing maintenance and support.
The Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene has been administering a proficiency testing (PT) program since the 1960s. Our PT program is approved as a PT provider under CLIA ’88 by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). WSLH PT is accepted by the CAP’s Laboratory Accreditation Program (LAP) as PT provider for their accredited labs and is accepted as a PT provider by Joint Commission, COLA and all States. WSLH PT has over 4000 customers (over 700 CAP accredited customers), and over 180 different products covering a wide range of laboratory specialties and subspecialties.
The WSLH Proficiency Testing Division expects that a single web-based piece of software will integrate with current software. The new system will efficiently acquire, analyze, report, and manage data and information in the Proficiency Testing Division. The system allows customer data entry via web application as well as upload faxed data to provide a single data document for analysis by Medical Technologist Statisticians. The new PTMS must have the ability to interface to the existing Phoenix system. |
