SCOPE: Contract for Comprehensive kinome panel biochemical assay services. The department is designing and synthesizing selective kinase inhibitors as a means to reduce negative side effects prevalent in current cancer therapies targeting kinases. In order to test the effectiveness and selectivity of our compounds for hitting the kinase targets of interest, while missing targets we have identified as leading to adverse effects, it is necessary to screen the chemicals against a comprehensive panel of kinases, including tyrosine kinases, disease relevant mutant kinases, and lipid kinases. The estimated volume in the first year of this contract is $100K. The compounds to be assayed will be submitted at various times throughout the year |
