Item #1 (Utility Postal Mailer) and  Item #2 – (Mailer Medium [MRM] Water) are rectangular in shape. 

Item #1 – Utility Postal Mailer Specifications:
Outside dimensions of container currently being used are provided for reference and not necessarily the only acceptable size.  Inside dimensions reflect space needed to accommodate a single 20 ml or 30 ml conical specimen collection vial and accompanying paperwork. 

1. Outside dimensions: (2 pieces combined) 2-1/2”Dx2-1/2”Wx7”L
2. Inside dimensions: 1-1/2”Dx1-1/2”Wx6”L 

A variance of up to 1” for each dimension will be allowed providing it does not result in an increase in shipping costs or compromise the security of the contents.

1.           Must be 2 pieces and designed with a positive interlock feature.
2.           Must be made of inert low fluid absorption material that can demonstrate a high level of durability for multiple shipping cycles.
3.           Must accommodate the mailing sleeves (Item #4).

Item #2 – Mailer Medium (MRM) Water Specifications:
Outside dimensions of container currently being used are provided for reference and not necessarily the only
acceptable size.  Inside dimensions reflect space needed to accommodate any one of the following and accompanying paperwork.

1. One (1) single 30ml plastic wide mouth bottle
2. Two (2) test tubes with Biohazard
3. One (1) Lexon Plastic 4”x1-3/4” diameter
4. Two (2) Pyrex bottles, 3-1/2”x1” diameter

-        Outside dimensions:   (2 pieces combined)  3-5/8”D x 3-1/16”W x 5-11/16”L
-        Inside dimensions:   2-5/8”D x 2-1/8”W x4-13/16”L

A variance of up to 1” for each dimension will be allowed providing it does not result in an increase in shipping costs or compromise the security of the contents. 

1.            Must be 2 pieces and designed with a positive interlock feature.

Item #3 – Mailer Extra Large (MRX) Mailer Specifications:
Outside dimensions of container currently being used are provided for reference and not necessarily the only acceptable size.  Inside dimensions reflect space needed to accommodate the following and accompanying paperwork.

Total of three (3) plastic specimen containers:
a.      One (1) 50 ml
b.      One (1) Lexon Plastic 4”x1-3/4”
c.      One (1) Lexon Plastic 2-3/4”x1-3/8”

-        Outside dimensions: (2 pieces combined) are 4-1/2”D x 5-5/16”W x 7-7/16”L 
-        Inside dimensions: 3”D x 4”W x 6”L

A variance of up to 1” for each dimension will be allowed providing it does not result in an increase in shipping costs or compromise the security of the contents. 

1.               Must be 2 pieces and designed with a positive interlock feature
2.               Must be made of inert low fluid absorption material that can demonstrate a high level of durability for multiple shipping cycles.
3.               Must be designed to be used as mailing containers by banding with pressure sensitive tape, affixing postage stamps and labels and sent via First class mail. 
4.               Must meet all US Postal and Courier Service Regulations.

Item #4 – Mailing Sleeve Specifications:
The drawing below is not actual size and reflects the size currently being used. 

1.               Sleeve must be made of white cardboard material, with reverse tuck closure (approximately 18 pt).
2.               Must accommodate the outside dimensions of utility postal mailer (item #1).
3.               Must be designed to affix an address label, a postage stamp and be sent via First class mail.
4.               Must meet all US Postal and Courier Service Regulations
