SCOPE:
Introduction to RFB
Establish contracts with multiple Distributors/Manufacturers to provide sourcing options for DoIT as an authorized campus reseller. These software and related products will be redistributed to the campus community. The Distributor and/or Manufacturer must be in a position to offer a variety of software publisher’s announced product versions and licensing options. The performance of the vendor is critical in terms of offering a broad selection of products and licensing options, meeting critical delivery requirements and providing assistance and information on products and options for DoIT staff and personal.
Introduction to DoIT
The Division of Information Technology (DoIT) provide support to the University of Wisconsin campus community in selection, purchase and use computers and electronic communications including networks, printing, telephones and related services.
DoIT’s Tech Store at 1210W. Dayton Street is a combination of sales, showroom, help desk and repair service areas. Special academic prices are offered on a variety of supplies, hardware and software. Most of the products offered are acquired through unique educational programs offered by software publishers or manufacturers. Some of the products are also available to other UW System campuses and the Wisconsin Technical College System. In addition, we offer a complementary range of support services to the campus community. |
