SCOPE: The goal of the Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center (GLBRC) is to increase the contribution of biofuels to the US energy portfolio by conducting fundamental genomics-based research to remove bottlenecks in the bio-fuel pipeline. The GLBRC is developing a set of vertically integrated research programs aimed at developing economically and environmentally sustainable bioenergy practices and educating the General Population, Scientists,  Biomass Producers and Consumers about bio-energy issues.  GLBRC consists of a current membership of UW-Madison, Michigan State University, Oak Ridge National Laboratory , and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory all of whom will want and need access to Research Data developed by GLBRC in its Research efforts.
