SPECIFICATIONS
- Contractor Damages:At the end of the snow season, the Contractor shall be solely and wholly financially liable for any reported damage and shall comply with the instruction of the Contract Administrator in returning University property to its pre-season condition. Contractor agrees to repair or replace at no charge to the customer any property damaged by personnel supplied by the contractor in conjunction with the services delineated herein. It is understood that damage may not be noticeable until the snow melts.
- For most clinics, snow and ice must be removed by 7:00 AM Monday through Friday. There will be timing variations at some locations. Salting should be done at least 30 minutes before the clinic opens.
- For most clinics, if snowfall occurs between 8:00AM and 5:00 PM, plowing must be initiated within one hour of accumulation of one to two inches of snow.
- Snow and ice must be removed to bare concrete and asphalt.
- Snow and ice must not be piled on designated landscape areas.
- Snow and ice must not be plowed on to areas that would impede handicap access.
- Snow will be removed from the site as requested or required.
- Salt used for ice removal will not be detrimental to landscape.
- Plowing will be done when snow reaches a depth of between one and two inches.
- All communications regarding service requirements should be directed to the Clinic Manager for the site.
- Removal of accumulated snow piles are to be done with the permission or at the direction of the Clinic Manager for the site.
- Invoices must detail the date of service, the work provided, and be priced per the contract.
