CENTRAL CLINICAL LABORATORY SERVICES FOR SHOW

SCOPE: Contract for the Survey of the Health of Wisconsin (SHOW) to create a permanent infrastructure to effectively gather data for the assessment of population health needs and the condition of healthcare delivery systems, and to inform the definition of health priorities. 

The Central Clinical Laboratory’s role in SHOW is:

  • To provide for specimen pickup or shipment from the SHOW field centers within the quality control windows for each test;
  • To run the specified tests;
  • To report alert values to SHOW within 48 hours;
  • To report all values to SHOW electronically on a weekly basis.
