Mandatory Requirements

  1. Provide web access to selected veterinary medical records for easy review from any location with Internet access.
  2. Create, add, and update animal demographic data.
  3. Provide the ability to maintain a patient’s problem list.
  4. Provide the ability to maintain an animal’s health history.
  5. Provide the ability to document all types of veterinary medical encounters with multiple species.
  6. Provide the ability to document the encounter’s referrals, laboratory, radiology, and pharmaceutical orders.
  7. Store or access images such as radiographs, sonographs, scanned records and pictures in the medical record.
  8. Provide customizable automated treatment plans including a scheduled for regular preventative care, vaccinations, and other routine procedures.
  9. Allow for easy data entry with a minimum amount of text input.
  10. Compliance with federal regulations.
  11. Easily record activities for groups of animals.
  12. Complete audit log and signature capabilities
  13. Capability to instantly notify veterinary staff of a critical or non-critical medical problem from anywhere in the facility.
  14. Ability to enter sick animal reports via any web enabled hand held device or the use of the Tablet PC on a wireless network.
  15. Track animal assigned to multiple protocols.
  16. Compatible with Microsoft Windows XP and Apple Mac OS 10, or higher.
  17. Proposer's software license agreement, or other terms of use or service agreement, must include a perpetual license such that, in the event that the company is acquired by another company, the terms regarding upgrades, patches, and maintenance remain in effect.
