Mandatory Requirements
- Provide web access to selected veterinary medical records for easy review from any location with Internet access.
- Create, add, and update animal demographic data.
- Provide the ability to maintain a patient’s problem list.
- Provide the ability to maintain an animal’s health history.
- Provide the ability to document all types of veterinary medical encounters with multiple species.
- Provide the ability to document the encounter’s referrals, laboratory, radiology, and pharmaceutical orders.
- Store or access images such as radiographs, sonographs, scanned records and pictures in the medical record.
- Provide customizable automated treatment plans including a scheduled for regular preventative care, vaccinations, and other routine procedures.
- Allow for easy data entry with a minimum amount of text input.
- Compliance with federal regulations.
- Easily record activities for groups of animals.
- Complete audit log and signature capabilities
- Capability to instantly notify veterinary staff of a critical or non-critical medical problem from anywhere in the facility.
- Ability to enter sick animal reports via any web enabled hand held device or the use of the Tablet PC on a wireless network.
- Track animal assigned to multiple protocols.
- Compatible with Microsoft Windows XP and Apple Mac OS 10, or higher.
- Proposer's software license agreement, or other terms of use or service agreement, must include a perpetual license such that, in the event that the company is acquired by another company, the terms regarding upgrades, patches, and maintenance remain in effect.
