Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide support to our customers by assisting
them in obtaining goods and services and disposing of surplus property.
This will be achieved in accordance with the mission of the University
of Wisconsin - Madison and by following the policies and procedures
of the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents and the laws of
the State of Wisconsin.
We are committed to increase customer satisfaction by providing
cost effective and quality products and services on a timely basis.
We will accomplish this by performing tasks in new and better ways
and continually communicating with our customers to improve our
processes.
Vision Statement
Purchasing Services will strive to become a model service organization
by:
- Viewing each person employed in Purchasing Services as a valued
team member and encouraging them to participate in efforts to
improve processes;
- supporting and assisting all team members to achieve their full
potential, and meet their job responsibilities;
- continuing to improve services based on changing customer and
employe needs; and
- creating a positive work environment.
