FY 03-04 (BU 02, 03, 05, 06)

0.0% GWA (General Wage Adjustment)

FY 04-05 (BU 02)

1.0% GWA (General Wage Adjustment) (AS)

Eligible: Classified employees in pay status, including employees who retired, died or were laid off while serving in bargaining unit 02 from June 12, 2005 to the effective date of the contract.

Not eligible if previously considered for a 04-05 GWA (general wage adjustment) and did not lose the increase due to grid placement.

Delayed Lump Sum Payment: Employees who receive a base wage adjustment as noted above will receive a lump sum equal to the amount of the adjustment times the number of hours in pay status between June 12, 2005 and the effective date of the agreement.

Market Adjustment (AS)

Employees whose base rate of pay is less than $13.000 per hour will receive an increase of not more than $.250 per hour, subject to a maximum base rate of $13.000, except that no one will receive less than $.100 per hour.

Delayed Lump Sum Payment: Employees who receive a base wage adjustment as noted above will receive a lump sum equal to the amount of the adjustment times the number of hours in pay status between June 12, 2005 and the effective date of the agreement.

General Wage Adjustment (AS)

Employees not eligible for the above Market Adjustment will receive a base pay adjustment of $.100 per hour.

Delayed Lump Sum Payment: Employees who receive a base wage adjustment as noted above will receive a lump sum equal to the amount of the adjustment times the number of hours in pay status between June 12, 2005 and the effective date of the agreement.

Market Stratification (AS)

Employees who are assigned to Medical Program Assistant title 23001, Dean Assistant title 18060, and Medical Staff Assistant title 23000, and who did not receive an adjustment under a similar stratification effective May 18, 2003 will receive a base pay market stratification adjustment based on full years of seniority as of June 12, 2005.

Employees will earn paid annual leave of absence (vacation) according to the following schedule. Employees earning this leave under calendar year 2005 will have until December 31, 2006 to use the additional hours.

Personal Holiday (AS, BC, SPS, T)

Effective calendar year 2004, employees will earn 1 additional personal holiday each calendar year, in Recognition of Veterans Day. Employees will have until December 31, 2006 to use the additional personal holidays earned for years 2004 and 2005.

Health Insurance (AS, BC, SPS, T)

Beginning July 2005 payroll employees will be required to pay a portion of their health insurance as listed in the chart below.
