Financial Planning Committee (FPC)
Purpose
- Identify, prioritize, and balance campus financial management needs, by looking at opportunities for improvement from a strategic position.
- Share financial management related problems, understand the impact as a group, evaluate recommendations, communicate back and forth, and develop solutions to resolve problems.
- Provide insight, expertise, advice, and feedback for development, use, and changes needed to current and future financial systems and processes. Evaluate the connections of financial systems and processes to other University business cycles, which generate data, which areused in financial systems, and processes.
- Be cognitive of the transition effect system changes have on users. Prioritize and implement changes accordingly.
- Help design and designate sub-groups to look at specific processes for financial system solutions.
- Create and support the vision, mission, goals, and objectives of the financial process for the UW Madison.
