WISDM Data View
Prior Year Fund Balance
(Formerly Known As Prior_Yr_Cash)
Name of the View: PRIOR_YEAR_FUND.
Description: This view contains fund balances at the end of the prior fiscal year that are carried over to the current fiscal year. The basis for this view is the WISDM database, so it is updated daily, but balances generally only change once a year. This view was moved from InfoAccess to SFS Data View in July 2004. It contains data from fiscal year 2000 and forward.

Special Considerations:
- To get roll-up balance for the entire campus, leave blank in the Division, Department and Subdepartment fields.
- For Brio users, please do not use the “Show Values” option whenever possible, because this option will slow down your query processing and your query may be “timed out”.

| DIVISION | 2 | The first and second characters of the organization code. They define the college or division. | e.g. 03 |
| DEPARTMENT | 2 | The third and fourth characters of the organization code. They define the major department within a college or division. | e.g. 05 |
| SUBDEPARTMENT | 2 | The fifth and sixth characters of the organization code. They define a sub-department of the major department. | e.g. 00 |
| ORGANIZATION | 6 | A code identifying the combined codes for division, department and sub-department. | e.g. 030500 |
| PRIOR_YEAR_CASH_ BALANCE | 17.2 | The cash balance remaining at the end of the previous fiscal year that has been carried over to the current fiscal year. | 00000000000010000.00 |
