52 weeks x 5 days = 260 days @ 8 hours = 2,080 hours
Vacation* (revise for new contracts)
2, 3, or 4 weeks @ 40 hours/week for Classified. 22 days @ 8 hours/day for Faculty/Academic. No vacation for 9 mo appointment or 9 mo. & 2 mo. Summer session appointment.
Sick Leave (revise for new contracts)
4 hours/pay period; 26 x 4 = 104 hours for Classified. 6 days per semester = 96 hours for Faculty/Academic.
Holidays*
12.5 legal and personal "floating" holidays = 100 hours for Classified. 8.5 legal holidays = 68 hours for Faculty/Academic.
Total Deduction
Sum of #2, 3, and 4.
Assignable Hours**
Total hours less column #5.
