Reimbursement is limited to the contract, midsize rate. Each rental shall originate in Wisconsin , but rental vehicles may be driven out of state. Rentals may be one-way or returned to the renting location. Rental will require a UW employee identification at the time of pickup. All daily and weekly rates include unlimited mileage.

Note: Collision (CDW) coverage is provided by Enterprise as well as supplemented liability protection (SLP) and comprehensive without deductible in the amounts of $300,000 combined single limit bodily injury and $25,000 per occurrance provided the renter and any authorized driver have complied with the terms of the rental agreement.

With advance reservation, renters will be provided with the car class they reserved, or higher class, if original car class is not available, at no additional cost.
Enterprise provides the following services :
- A 24-hour, toll-free phone number to obtain road service assistance.
- Replace an impaired vehicle at no extra cost to the traveler or UW, including the reasonable cost(s) incurred by the traveler for alternate transportation, provided the driver is not at fault.
- Find alternate transportation when a traveler has a confirmed reservation and no car is available. This may include an upgraded vehicle at the reserved contract rate or, if agreeable to the traveler, a smaller vehicle at its contract rate.
Eligible and Authorized Drivers:
- All authorized State/University employees are eligible for the contract rate while conducting official State/University business.
- Employees must produce a State/University ID or a letter on official State/University letterhead or,
- a Travel Authorization and Tax Exemption Letter or,
- a US Bank Corporate travel card in their name to obtain the contract rate.
- All authorized State/University employees are subject to meeting the State's minimum driving standards.
- Authorized students or non-employees conducting official State/University business are also eligible for the contract rate when State/University funds are being used to pay for the rental. In cases where rentals are for students or non-state employees, a letter must be presented on State/University letterhead at the time of rental stating the rental is for official state business and signed by the renters supervisor. Students must also present their student ID at time of rental. Students must be at least 18 years of age to rent a typical vehicle or at least 25 years of age to rent a 12/15 passenger van. There shall be no additional charge based on the renter's age.
- The State minimum driving standards are defined as: (a) must have a valid operator's license, (b) must have a minimum of two years licensed driving experience, and (c) must be eighteen (18) years of age.
- Volunteers, interns, or contractors of the State may ride in a rental car if on official State/University business and authorized by risk management.
- At the time of rental, all eligible drivers must sign the rental agreement. Family members are not allowed to drive or ride in a vehicle rented through this contract.
Additional Rates and Services:
- Contract rates shall be the maximum rates guaranteed for the contract period. Enterprise shall extend the "best rate available" to renters under the contract to include any geographic or other available promotional rate.
- A promotional rate does not include insurance coverage. When the promotional rate, plus the additional cost for the state required insurance and any other additional cost for services that are currently included in the contract rental rate, are less than the contract rate, the promotional rate will be offered.
- The rental period start time shall be the actual pick-up time and acceptance of the individual renter of the vehicle, including the signing of the rental agreement.
- The end time shall be when the renter returns the vehicle to the Enterprise location. This includes the return of the keys to the Enterprise Representative, or the keys are left in an Enterprise Rent-A-Car drop box at the same location as the dropped vehicle.
- A grace period of one hour shall be allowed at no additional charge for returns. Vehicles returned after the 24 hours, plus 1 hour grace period, will be assessed an additional hourly charge until such time an additional daily charge occurs. Charges are based on a day's use, unless a weekly rate is lower.
- There is no penalty for early return of a vehicle.

One-way Rentals within Wisconsin or to Chicago and Minneapolis:
- Contractor shall provide one-way rentals within the State of Wisconsin and to Minneapolis and Chicago, without mileage cap or any drop charge, if reservations are made at least 24 hours in advance.
- One-way rentals are available between Madison and Milwaukee Mitchell Field; from Madison, Platteville, Racine, and Milwaukee to Chicago O'Hare or Midway airports; and from River Falls, Menomonie, and Eau Claire, Wisconsin to the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport.

Unlimited Mileage: Rates include unlimited mileage regardless of traveling destination either in-state or out-of-state. The vehicle must originate and return from an Enterprise location in Wisconsin. Unlimited mileage also applies to the one-way locations outlined within this contract.
Fueling: Enterprise will provide rental vehicles with a full tank of fuel. Renters are advised to refuel rental vehicles prior to return to avoid refueling charges. In cases where renter does not return the rental vehicle refueled, Enterprise will charge the current per-gallon market rate on the date the vehicle was rented, plus no more than one additional dollar per gallon.
Free Parking Service: Eligible renters will be able to park their vehicles at the Enterprise location at no cost. Parking is based on availability.
Pick-up/Return Service: Enterprise will provide, at no extra cost, "pick-up/return" of a vehicle for an eligible driver within 10 miles of the rental branch location. A 24-hour notice must be provided for all locations outside of this 10-mile radius for this same service.
Early Delivery Service:
- Delivery service will be available, at no charge, with a two-hour advance notice. There will be no additional cost for delivery of vehicles within 24 hours of usage.
- Rental vehicles needed for early departure on Tuesday through Friday may be obtained the evening before between 5pm and 6pm. Charges for this vehicle will then begin the next morning at 7:30am. The renter willl be responsible for the vehicle once it leaves the contractor's location. No personal use is allowed with this vehicle rental.
- Rental vehicles needed for early departure on Mondays may be obtained on Friday between 5pm and 6pm for an additional charge of $30 or on Saturday between 9am and 12pm for an additional charge of $20. No personal use is allowed with this vehicle rental.
- Additional charges for Friday or Saturday will include the insurance coverage of the vehicle for official state business only. Full vehicle rental charges will begin Monday at 7:30am.
- The terms of the rental agreement will apply at the time the vehicle is taken by the renter.
Delivery Cancellations: A two-hour cancellation notice for all vehicles should be provided, whenever possible. There will be no fee assessed regardless of the cancellation time.
Express Registration: Enterprise shall provide its fastest and simplest paperwork and service upon registration and vehicle return to authorized renters under this contract. The maximum time for waiting and transaction will be no more than twenty (20) minutes for registration and pick-up with a prior reservation and for vehicle return.
After-Hours Vehicle Return: Rental office locations must have a drop-off site for rented vehicle and keys when the rental location is not open for business. Enterprise will mail the renter an original receipt if vehicle is returned after hours.
Contract Expiration Date: June 30, 2009 (Contract has been extended until 12/31/09.)
